Krishna1Chinmaya Mission has its roots in Bhavnagar since the year 1989. During these long years, the Mission’s activities have grown manifold. Chinmaya Mission now owns a property, an Ashram in Bhavnagar.

Popularly known as “Chinmaya Bhavashram”, Chinmaya Mission Bhavnagar, is located opposite Ayodhya Nagari, Kaliyabid area.

Ashram has big open ground around the building. There is a big satsang hall having a shrine of Lord Gopal Krishna. Br. Samaatma Chaitanya is the current Acharya of the Bhavnagar Chinmaya Mission and oversees the activities of the Mission.

Ever since, many Chinmaya Mission Acharyas have visited Bhavnagar and conducted Jyana Yagnas. Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda, Swami Purushottamananda, Swami Subodhananda, Swamini Vimalananda, Swamini Mangalananda are among many acharyas who has periodically nurtured mission activity in Bhavnagar.
