Dr. Durga Prasad Mekala is Board Certified in Family Practice and Geriatrics with over 25 years of experience.

Dr. Mekala graduated from the Carillion Clinic Family Medicine Residency Program in 2009 and from Geriatric Fellowship in 2010. Prior to moving to Virginia for Residency, he worked in a private practice in Jamaica for over ten years since 1995.

He is currently practicing in the Arlington area and is affiliated with Medical City of Arlington, Arlington Memorial Hospital, Kindred Hospital, and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital and Texas Rehabilitation Hospital in Arlington, Texas.

Dr. Mekala is dedicated to providing quality and comprehensive medical care to his patients. He is experienced in treating a wide variety of medical conditions in patients of all ages. Dr.Mekala strives to not only treat his patients but also educate them about their condition and the possible treatments. He is a great listener and gives each patient the utmost attention and care.
