Description
Badarikashrama is a spiritual and cultural center, focusing on the lives and Vedantic teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. There are two centers, one in San Leandro California, USA and the other, Madihalli, Karntaka, India. Through Swami Omkaranandaji’s guidance the ashrama has grown with an emphasis on devotion, service to God through humanity, simplicity and reliance on the strength of spiritual discipline and selfless service.
Our USA center activities include festivals, concerts, retreats and special weekend events. It is a thriving community where people from all walks of life find peace, trust and acceptance.
Through the support of many Western devotees and the local community, the Madihalli, India center has fulfilled its mission of serving humanity by imparting spiritual knowledge and establishing a modern CBSE school, Badarikashrama Vidyashala.
